Learn how to wash delicate lingerie and what should we avoid washing together

There are certain materials and items that should not be washed or dried together in order to avoid damage or shrinkage. Here are some examples:

    • Wool and other natural fibers (such as cashmere, alpaca, and mohair): These materials should be washed by hand or on a delicate cycle using a mild detergent and cold water. They should be laid flat to dry and not hung up or put in the dryer.

    • Delicate fabrics (such as silk, lace, and embroidered items): These fabrics should be washed by hand or on a delicate cycle using a mild detergent and cold water. They should be laid flat to dry and not hung up or put in the dryer.

    • Items with metal parts (such as zippers, buttons, and snaps): These items should be washed on a delicate cycle or by hand to avoid damage to the metal parts.

    • Items with embellishments (such as beads, sequins, and embroidery): These items should be washed by hand or on a delicate cycle to avoid damage to the embellishments.

    • Items with elastic (such as bras, underwear and swimwear): These items should be washed on a delicate cycle and should be laid flat to dry or hung to dry to avoid stretching out the elastic.

  • Items with prints or graphic designs: These items should be washed inside out to avoid fading or cracking of the print.

It is always good to read the care instructions on the label before washing an item to ensure the proper care is taken.
